Katlynn Weedman, CEO, CVT
She has been dedicated to providing the best care possible since entering veterinary medicine in 2010. Katlynn chose the veterinary field as a career because she wanted to be an advocate for animals.
She is a certified veterinary technician that found her passion in ultrasound in 2015, and decided to pursue further education as a sonographer. She received her certification from Sound Academy of Veterinary Imaging in February 2018. Since her certification she has become a proud partner of 4 Paws Imaging Centers.
When she isn’t working, she spends time with her husband and 2 dogs, hiking and taking them kayaking.
Cori Rinehart, CVT
Cori always knew she had the compassion to help others. She found her calling in the veterinary field as a veterinary technician in 2013. Her favorite parts of her job were assisting doctors with critical cases and training other technicians that were new to the field.
She decided she wanted to learn a new way to help care for animals. She did this by obtaining her certification in veterinary ultrasound in early 2020. She has been a part of the 4 Paws Imaging Centers family since!
Cori loves how ultrasound can be used in a wide variety of cases and is pain free and safe for patients. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending quality time with loved ones.
Bri Jeffers, CVT
Bri realized her passion for helping animals at a young age and began her career in veterinary medicine as a Certified Veterinary Technician, graduating from the Veterinary Technology Program at Parkland College in 2013.
Since graduating, she has continued to work in small animal practice. In the beginning of 2019, she decided to further her education to be able to help her patients in a different way, through ultrasound. She became a certified veterinary sonographer in early 2019. She has been an integral part of the 4 Paws family since!
In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, fishing, and cuddling with her dog, Bonnie.
Lauren Nugent, CVT
Lauren has had a passion for animals all her life and has always loved science. When she was able to combine her passions for medicine and animals in the veterinary field, she knew this was where she was meant to be. Lauren has been working as a veterinary technician since 2020 and has experience working in small animal and large animal medicine.
While enrolled at College of Dupage, she was able to complete a series of human Sonography courses which sparked her interest in diagnostic imaging. Lauren wanted to be able to combine her ultrasound experience with veterinary medicine and further her education. She became a certified veterinary sonographer in early 2023. She loves what a diverse tool ultrasound can be and how many patients it can help safely without radiation exposure.
In her free time, Lauren can be found riding her horse Charlie, spending time outdoors and enjoying time with friends and family.
Beatriz Ortiz de Pinedo, CVT
Born and raised in Spain, Bea had a love for animals since she was a little kid. She graduated from Veterinary school in Spain, in 2014. Shortly after that she moved to Illinois.
Since then, she has been working as a technician and became a CVT.
She always loved ultrasound and finally in early 2023 decided to take the next step and get certified as a Veterinary Sonographer. She loves to continue to learn and be able to help every animal she can.She would not have it any other way!
Outside of work she loves to spend time with her family and friends. She loves cooking, traveling and any craft activity.
She cannot wait to meet and help all the furry members of your family.
Natalia Olek, ARDMS
Natalia loved taking care of small pets in her early childhood. In adulthood, she wanted to get involved in caring for animals professionally.
Natalia graduated from Triton College in 2018 with her certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. She holds ARDMS credentials in Abdomen and OB/Gyn. In her career, she was able to apply her passion for science and photography to ultrasound. Shortly after working with humans, she cross-trained into scanning animals in August of 2020.
Outside of work, Natalia loves spending time with her family and friends. She loves trying new foods and exploring new places.
John Jovanes, Administrator
John Jovanes, our Administrator and Partner at 4 Paws Imaging Centers, is fueled by a childhood spent amidst the animals of his grandparents' Michigan farmhouse. Those formative years instilled in him a deep love for caring for pets, a passion that remains at the core of his work today. With his Chinese Shar Pei companion, Charley, by his side, John brings a personal touch to every aspect of our veterinary imaging services.
At 4 Paws Imaging Centers, John finds true fulfillment in working closely with both the furry patients and their human companions. From the tiniest kittens to the largest dogs, he approaches each case with warmth and dedication, ensuring that every pet receives the exceptional care they deserve. With John's commitment to excellence and genuine care, you can trust that your beloved animal companion is in capable and compassionate hands.
Erin Brauer
Erin has always had a love for animals and their care. As a sonographer, she did not think that she was able to round off her career with her love for animals. 7 years into her career, an opportunity arose for her to combine her talents with her passion for animals.
Erin attended Triton College and earned her degree in sonography in 2013. She holds ARDMS credentials in vascular, OB/Gyn, and abdomen. She started working with 4 Paws Imaging in August of 2019 performing abdominal ultrasounds.
When Erin is not working, she loves to spend time with her family and friends. She loves travel, hiking, running and spending time outdoors. Her family includes her husband of 22 years, 4 children, 3 dogs, and 5 cats.
